Question:

What fees are impacted by CLIA 20-percent increase?

Answer:

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services  (CMS) announced fee increases for laboratories certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Act (CLIA) of 1988 for the first time in 20 years. The notification was published in the Federal Register on December 31, 2018.
