If the documentation states a core biopsy of the disc space, would we still use 62267?

Answer:

62267 can be used for biopsy of the disc space, whether aspiration or core biopsy. The code does not specify the type of aspiration and indicates it is used for diagnostic purposes (i.e. biopsy).
