Question:

Is a signed physician’s order required for each supply when used in the operating room, procedure room, or cardiac catheterization?

Answer:

OR supplies are not generally deemed durable medical equipment so a distinct order for each is not required if considered incidental to the procedure. There should be a supply log kept in case of an audit.
