There is a new Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) topic being introduced regarding utility insecurity. The topic of postprocedural open deep wound will also be discussed.

The PCS agenda contains eight subjects plus Section X updates, addenda, and Definition Key updates. There are two requests for April 1, 2025 implementation and two requests for New Technology Add-On Payments (NTAPs). The tentative PCS agenda includes administration of Roctavian™. The CM meeting will be virtual, and you must register in advance to attend the meeting. There is no cost to attend. The meetings are recorded so that it is possible to review the code presentations of past meetings.

The virtual meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time (ET) and end at 5:00 ET with a 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. ET lunch break. The meeting will begin with the procedure proposals which will be led by CMS. The presentation of the diagnosis proposals will follow the procedure proposals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will lead the diagnosis portion of the meeting. There are no final decisions made during this meeting. The final decisions are made by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The deadline for submitting comments on the procedure proposals requesting April 1, 2025 implementation is Oct. 11. The deadline for the proposals requesting Oct. 1, 2025 implementation is Nov. 13.
