Stephanie has over 20+ years of healthcare professional experience in chargemaster management and revenue integrity. She began her career as an Associate at KPMG in the healthcare risk advisory services practices providing professional services to hospitals and health systems on chargemaster analysis, charge capture analysis, third party payer audits, and facilitated national education and training sessions to large academic medical centers. She continued her professional growth in hospital operations for both academic and large community hospitals and health systems in the state of Illinois with management roles in hospital chargemaster, revenue integrity, revenue cycle, and coding Departments. During her hospital tenure, she served as a subject matter expert in several hospital EPIC CDM conversions, standardizations, and implementation projects with responsible for the accuracy and build of the hospital chargemaster, along with developing fundamental charge capture guiding principles for revenue-producing departments. Stephanie has also provided continuous education on changes in governmental regulations (e.g., reimbursement, payment structures, CPT/HCPCS coding changes) that affect clinical departments. Finally, Stephanie has assisted in the development and implementation of standardized evaluation and management criteria for several hospital-based provider outpatient departments, labor and delivery department, and the emergency department. Stephanie has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, and a Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, Stephanie is Epic Certified in Resolute Hospital Billing and Charging. In her current role as Revenue Integrity Director at Panacea, she shares the responsibility of managing chargemaster, charge capture, CDMsync, Price Transparency and NSA GFE client projects and solutions.
